What you'll be doing:
Responsible for generating new meetings with potential TLC clients, on behalf of our BD team.
Targeting prospect clients at senior levels across a range of market sectors.
Often the first point of contact with prospective clients, TMs are ambassadors for TLC.
Many TLC clients begin their journey simply with an introductory outreach from Telemarketing, so this really is an important and well-respected role.
We are looking for proactive, ambitious, emotionally intelligent & target-driven. individuals who want to make a big impact on TLC’s growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be given a target client hitlist as part of the Company’s strategic goals.
- Using our CRM system to outreach prospective clients at the right time, with the right message.
- You will be required to do basic desk research to learn more about the sectors, brands, industry trends, competitor offerings and people whom you’re aiming to book meetings with.
- Ensuring your LinkedIn profile is relevant and up to date, you will be expected to build your network with new connections that match your target hitlist.
- Follow a prescribed flexible script to ensure consistent and accurate information when communicating to prospective clients.
- Outreach will be conducted by phone, email, LinkedIn & other social media platforms.
- From time to time, you will also be given ‘warm leads’ to follow up from inbound marketing initiatives such as our website, eshots, direct mailers, content blogs & so on.
- Articulate in a succinct way what we do and how we can potentially help with new customer acquisition, retention & loyalty.
- Primary goal is to generate interest with the right audience and clearly articulate the features, advantages and benefits of our TLC solution.
- Qualify leads and use persuasive skills to get prospective clients to agree to meet our BD team in a professional manner.
- Build rapport with prospects through persuasive communication skills, gathering information about their needs and business objectives.
- Capture essential client information, including decision-making process and assess ways TLC can potentially help them with our solutions.
- Overcome initial concerns & objections about agreeing to a TLC introductory meeting.
- Follow up on leads and maintain regular communication to build relationships and increase the likelihood of getting a meeting with the prospect.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions.
Who we're looking for:
- A few years’ experience in telemarketing or sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a clear & confident manner, with the ability to articulate features and benefits of TLC persuasively.
- Solid persuasive abilities to influence prospect clients.
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address their needs.
- Resilience and perseverance to handle rejection and maintain motivation in a sales-driven environment.
- Organisational skills to manage reporting information and follow-up activities.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Works well on own initiative and within a team environment.
- Professionalism, integrity and a positive attitude.
- High emotional intelligence.
